Sony Group has introduced its proprietary blockchain platform, Soneium, which incorporates Web3 technology into everyday life, offering developers a scalable, secure, and economical framework for creating creative apps.
Sony has collaborated with prominent blockchain platforms including Astar Network, Alchemy, Chainlink, Circle, Optimism, and The Graph to improve the platform’s usefulness, scalability, and security.
Soneium has introduced a testnet, named “Minato,” enabling developers and early users to engage with the network and examine its functionalities. Users are invited to participate in the testnet to examine its functionalities, offer comments, and maybe qualify for future incentives.
Soneium has not yet released a token; nevertheless, the platform’s roadmap indicates a forthcoming airdrop for early users who engage with the testnet and fulfill designated requirements.
To qualify for an airdrop, users must access the Soneium website, utilize the Soneium testnet bridge to connect their wallet, request Sepolia ETH from Alchemy, bridge test tokens to examine the network’s functionalities, join Soneium’s Discord channel, and mint an XNAME domain on the Soneium Minato testnet.
