Decentralized blockchain infrastructure provider Ankr has announced the launch of its enterprise blockchain creator tool, known as “AppChains,” on Microsoft’s Azure Marketplace.

The tool enables companies to quickly deploy customizable blockchains to support various Web3 strategies. Initially, developers can utilize the Polygon Supernet, with more options to be added in the future.

The release of AppChains on the Azure Marketplace comes in response to strong demand from institutional clients seeking to leverage blockchain technology in areas like banking, central bank digital currencies, and gaming

AppChains, Ankr’s blockchain creator tool, has been in use for a year, primarily for launching application-specific blockchains.

Ankr is observing significant interest from institutional clients looking to utilize AppChains in diverse sectors.

The availability of AppChains on Microsoft’s Azure Marketplace offers businesses an accessible solution for entering the market with use cases like fast and affordable transactions, seamless user experiences, regulatory compliance, and end-to-end engineering.

Ankr plans to continuously enhance AppChains based on user feedback and performance metrics, with Microsoft’s guidance.

Microsoft views its partnership with Ankr as crucial in facilitating the testing, deployment, and scaling of Web3 projects seamlessly.

Ankr and Microsoft previously collaborated to provide enterprise node hosting services on the Azure Marketplace, streamlining transactions, smart contract deployment, and blockchain data management.

Ankr’s Web3 developer hub and software development kits already support connections to over 30 blockchains.
