A message verification flaw in the BSC bridge was exploited by the attacker to transfer 2 million BNB, or about $590 million, into the Venus protocol.

The BNB Smart Chain has resumed operations, according to a Binance announcement made in the early hours of October 7.
According to an on-chain investigation by Paradigm Research Analyst @samczsun, the attacker sent 2 million BNB (roughly $568 million) into the Venus protocol using a message verification flaw discovered in the Binance bridge.
