OKX crypto exchange introduced its Dutch exchange services and Web3 wallet. The platform announced it on X on June 3, 2024. OKX serves over 100 countries, according to its website.

OKX (previously OKEx) was founded in 2017 and is based in Africa. It has Silicon Valley, UAE, Hong Kong, and Singapore operations. With $2 billion in trade volume, OKX is the fourth biggest exchange, according CMC. In the US and elsewhere, the crypto exchange offers Web3 wallets.

OKX announced that Dutch consumers may now trade and swap in over 150 countries. Web3 wallet services are also available for Dutch nationals. The exchange claims its wallet is a ‘portal to web3’.

In the nation, the exchange offers trading of sixty crypto-euro pairings. The trade platform integrates with Dutch payment system ‘iDeal’. This connection lets customers deposit and withdraw Euros for free.

The crypto exchange picked the Netherlands for its “thriving community of crypto enthusiasts, new entrants, experienced traders and long-term holders.” Early crypto and Web3 adopters, the Dutch are enthusiastic players.

Separately, the exchange states that it is a DNB-registered crypto service provider. It also has a Malta virtual financial asset service provider license. It wants to extend its offerings to establish a global community.
