Google Cloud will become a Solana validator and will include the network in its Blockchain Node Engine and BigQuery services.

Google Cloud has launched an innovative collaboration with Solana. One of the world’s top cloud service providers will join the Solana network and incorporate Solana into its diverse range of products and services.

The company stated that it will run a Solana validator that generates blocks, allowing it to participate in and validate the Solana network.

In addition to becoming a validator, Google Cloud has been collaborating with Solana to introduce its Blockchain Node Engine to the Solana ecosystem.

The Blockchain Node Engine is a fully managed node-hosting solution provided by Google Cloud that eliminates the need for sophisticated node operations.

Previously, the service was entirely focused on Ethereum and its expanding developer community, providing turnkey node hosting.

Solana’s inclusion in the Blockchain Node Engine will significantly shorten the time necessary to run a Solana node, making it more accessible to more people.

The business also stated that it is now working on indexing and importing data from the Solana network into BigQuery.

The data warehouse on Google Cloud allows the enormous Solana blockchain database to be queried quickly and effectively leveraging the computing power of Google’s massive infrastructure.
