As Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs witness their first major outflows since Trump’s election, users are paying closer attention to secure and dependable digital wallets. Issues with Phantom Wallet, including recent app glitches and security concerns, have prompted many users to reassess their crypto management choices.

This has brought alternatives like Plus Wallet into the spotlight. Offering a cross-chain experience with enhanced backup and recovery systems, Plus Wallet has emerged as a preferred option. With reliable performance across various assets, Plus Wallet is gaining traction as a more robust solution, ensuring users retain control over their funds and private keys.

Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs See First Outflows

U.S.-based spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs experienced significant outflows, thus ending a streak of steady inflows since Donald Trump’s election. Specifically, Bitcoin ETFs collectively recorded a $400.7 million net outflow, with Bitcoin’s price dropping 2% to $88,200.

Notably, BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF and VanEck’s Bitcoin ETF were the only ones with positive inflows, at $126.5 million and $2.5 million, respectively. Meanwhile, Fidelity’s ETF led the outflows with $179.2 million, followed by ARK and 21Shares with $161.7 million, and Bitwise with $113.9 million.

Similarly, Ether ETFs also saw net outflows for the first time since Trump’s win, totaling $3.2 million. In contrast, BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust ETF gained $18.9 million, although Grayscale’s Ethereum Trust ETF faced the highest outflow at $21.9 million. Overall, this shift marks a downturn following a period of record-high inflows fueled by optimism from Trump’s pro-crypto stance.

Phantom Wallet iOS Glitch

Recently, a bug in Phantom’s iOS wallet app logged out users unexpectedly, which led the Solana-based wallet provider to release an urgent update. This glitch primarily affected users who hadn’t backed up their recovery phrases, which are essential for accessing non-custodial wallets.

Phantom confirmed that a “small number” of iOS users were impacted and advised them to restore access using their recovery phrases. Consequently, reports quickly surfaced on social media, with users expressing concerns over losing wallet access after the update. Since then, Phantom has released a fix, urging all users to securely back up their seed phrases.

Notably, this incident follows previous technical issues, including balance display errors in October and token update delays earlier in the year, both of which Phantom promptly addressed. Ultimately, the incident highlights the importance of securing recovery phrases in decentralized finance (DeFi) wallets, where recovery access relies solely on user backup.

Plus Wallet: The Superior Choice for Crypto Management Over Phantom Wallet

For crypto users seeking robust functionality, ease of use, and enhanced security, Plus Wallet stands out as a superior choice, particularly over Phantom Wallet. While Phantom has gained traction among Solana users, recent issues, such as unexpected logouts and balance display errors, have highlighted its limitations in reliability. Plus Wallet, on the other hand, offers a seamless, cross-chain experience that supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, and a wide range of other assets, thereby making it an ideal choice for diversified portfolios.

Moreover, Plus Wallet’s user interface is designed to be intuitive, making crypto management straightforward even for beginners. Unlike Phantom, Plus Wallet offers an advanced backup and recovery system, thus ensuring users can regain access to their funds without hassle. Additionally, Plus Wallet’s non-custodial framework provides users full control over private keys, safeguarding assets while incorporating robust security protocols, such as biometric authentication, to enhance protection.

In terms of performance, Plus Wallet’s technology optimizes transaction speeds and minimizes network fees across multiple blockchain ecosystems. Consequently, this efficiency positions Plus Wallet as an ideal tool for active traders and DeFi users seeking quick, reliable transactions.

Finally, another major advantage of Plus Wallet is its active support team and frequent updates, which enhance stability and address any emerging issues promptly—an area where Phantom has struggled. Therefore, whether you’re managing Bitcoin, Ethereum, or diverse tokens, Plus Wallet offers a secure, flexible, and performance-oriented experience that makes it the preferred choice for crypto users looking for reliability and innovation over Phantom Wallet.

Final Take

The recent outflows in Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, along with technical setbacks in Phantom Wallet, underscore the importance of reliability and user control in crypto management. With its user-friendly interface, strong security features, and cross-chain compatibility, Plus Wallet presents itself as a secure and efficient alternative for managing digital assets.

As crypto users seek dependable options to safeguard their investments, Plus Wallet’s comprehensive approach to backup, recovery, and transaction efficiency makes it a solid choice. In a space where trust and functionality are key, Plus Wallet offers a stable solution, allowing users to navigate crypto confidently and securely.
