The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) has issued a request for information (RFI) as part of the National Digital Assets Research and Development Agenda.
The agenda is part of the crypto-related research activity initiated by President Joe Biden’s executive order, “Ensuring Responsible Development of Digital Assets”, issued in March.
The RFI invites comments from individuals and organizations to help the OSTP identify agenda priorities.
The RFI states that the agenda seeks to “shape a whole-of-government effort” to develop digital assets and distributed ledger technology, and to “continue to support research that translates technological breakthroughs into market-ready products” and “Kickstart fundamental research.” Comments are due by March 23.
