Immutable, a leading Web3 gaming company, will use Transak as its exclusive payment service provider for the zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM).

This integration aims to simplify payments within gaming ecosystems by enabling users to conduct fiat and Web3-based transactions directly through Transak’s services.

Transak’s services will be integrated into both the Immutable Checkout and the Immutable Passport as part of the integration.

The Immutable Checkout provides a customizable interface for game developers, allowing them to seamlessly incorporate a variety of payment options.

The Immutable Passport, on the other hand, is an all-in-one transaction infrastructure designed specifically for gaming environments.

Users will be able to use various fiat payment methods, including credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, through Transak’s on-ramp, off-ramp, and NFT payment services.

This payment infrastructure is ready to facilitate in-game digital asset transactions within the gaming ecosystem.

According to Harshit Gangwar, Transak’s Director of Marketing, this payment rail will be used by a number of high-quality games set to launch in 2024.

The integration will begin with three of Immutable’s popular Web3 games: Guild of Guardians, Gods Unchained, and Cross The Ages.

These games are expected to be pioneers in seamlessly utilizing Transak’s services. Immutable’s Director of Product Marketing, Michael Powell, emphasized that this integration is a significant step toward improving the user experience within these gaming environments.

Transak, a reputable payments infrastructure provider, has a proven track record, with over 350 apps utilizing its services.

Transak has established itself as a preferred payment service in the gaming sector, backed by Animoca Brands, a prominent Web3 gaming venture capital company.

Notably, it provides users in 160 countries with access to over 20 different payment options, with pricing varying depending on country and payment method.
