Binance, one of the world’s top cryptocurrency exchanges, has confirmed its support for the upcoming Celo (CELO) network upgrade and Hard Fork.
The exchange’s announcement regarding this event is as follows:
This upgrade is scheduled to take place at approximately 17:15 on September 26, 2023, at block height 21,616,000.
To prepare for this significant event, the ability to deposit and withdraw tokens associated with the Celo network will be temporarily halted, starting from 19:15 on September 26, 2023.
It’s important to note that trading activities involving these tokens will not be affected during this period.
Binance is fully prepared to handle all the technical requirements necessary to ensure a seamless transition for its users.
The exchange will closely monitor the situation and assess the stability of the upgraded network. Once it is deemed safe and operational, deposits and withdrawals for tokens on the Celo network will be reinstated.
