Binance exchange announced that it is committed to providing its users with the latest and most advanced technology.

In line with this, the firm announced that they will be supporting the upcoming Osmosis (OSMO) network upgrade.

The Osmosis (OSMO) network upgrade is scheduled to take place at the Osmosis block height of 7,937,500, which is estimated to occur on January 23, 2023, at 16:00 UTC.

In preparation for this upgrade, Binance said that deposits and withdrawals of OSMO will be suspended starting from 2023-01-23 15:00 (UTC).

In addition, the exchange urges that trading of OSMO will not be affected during the network upgrade, saying that its team will handle all technical requirements involved for all users holding OSMO in their Binance accounts. Once the upgraded network is deemed stable, they will reopen deposits and withdrawals for OSMO and will not notify users in a further announcement.

Furthermore, Binance said they understand that network upgrades can be confusing and disruptive, but assured users that they are committed to ensuring a smooth and seamless transition for our users.
