Furthermore, the SEC’s plea for a postponement was also dismissed as unnecessary. The scheduled hearing is set to take place on April 23, 2024, starting at 9:00 AM.
In the court’s pretrial scheduling order, several important deadlines have been established:
- By December 4, 2023, both parties must submit all required pretrial documents. This includes the joint pretrial order, charging motions, decision form, and voir dire questions.
- A copy of each requested document to be admitted into the court record must also be submitted by December 4, 2023.
- On April 16, 2024, at 2:00 PM, attorneys representing all parties must attend a final pretrial conference.
This ruling stands as a significant victory for Ripple in its ongoing legal battle with the SEC.
