In a significant development, the Shiba Inu community has made a massive transfer of 1,653,845,435 SHIB meme coins to dead-end wallets.

While daily burns have seen fluctuations, a remarkable surge in burn rate on June 30 caught attention, leading to speculation about potential partnerships and the project’s expansion beyond the USA.

Recently, the burn rate of Shiba Inu experienced a staggering 1,800% increase, with 50,258,924 SHIB locked in unspendable wallet addresses.

Although daily burns have been inconsistent this week, this surge highlighted the community’s commitment to reducing the circulating supply of SHIB.

Lead developer Shytoshi Kusama’s cryptic tweets have added fuel to the speculation surrounding Shiba Inu. One tweet hinted at a partnership with Shibcals, a platform specializing in bringing SHIB into the physical world through merchandise and tangible items.

Another tweet and a Telegram message suggested that SHIB was “going somewhere” outside the USA, leading to speculations about the project’s involvement in the ETHToronto conference in Canada.

The launch of Shibarium, a Layer-2 solution, has been eagerly anticipated. The project’s testnet has achieved significant milestones, boasting over 17 million linked wallets and more than 25 million transactions.

Kusama’s mention of an unchangeable “launch strategy” in a recent Telegram post has fueled excitement about the project’s progress.
