MetaMask Launches Beta Portfolio Dapp

MetaMask announced the release of a beta version of its portfolio dApp, which gathers user accounts and crypto assets from many chains into a single location for users to examine.

Users of mobile devices and browser extensions can access the portfolio dApp. Users only need to click the “Portfolio” link on their browser extension’s home page to connect numerous accounts and begin using it.

Additionally, users can use the “watch any wallet” option to add an offline wallet or hardware wallet and give it a name of their choosing. Users can add “vitalik.eth” and give it the name “Cosmic Treasure Chest” in the DApp, for example, and they can add, remove, rename, and change the names of as many accounts as they like from the view.

A buddy’s ENS domain or public address can also be added to a user’s watchlist. To keep track of crucial market information, users can add a variety of crypto tokens to their watchlists.

Users who do not have MetaMask accounts can still use Portfolio View by using the “watch any account” option, despite the fact that is connecting to the DApp only works for MetaMask users.

The portfolio dApp Ethereum, Optimism, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Fantom, Abritrum, and Avalanche. Users will be able to view all of their assets in one location once the accounts from any of these chains are linked to the portfolio.

The portfolio DApp also has a toggle to the NFT side so users may access additional utility NFTs on the Ethereum Mainnet and Polygon, as well as a comprehensive view of their digital art collection.
