The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is continuing with its extensive metaverse adoption across all of its governmental and business enterprises.
According to Khaleej Times report on October 16, the Ajman Police in UAE became the first law enforcement organization in the world to offer its services inside the metaverse.
The Ajman Police General Command debuted a brand-new cutting-edge service during Gitex Technology Week dubbed “Request for Sponsorship,” which enables the general people to get in touch with the police digitally.
At the Dubai Metaverse Forum, Ajman Police General Command Officers were also in attendance. The force’s participation was made in order to take advantage of metaverse technology in law enforcement, according to Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Abu Shehab.
The Dubai Police General Command announced the release of a new edition of its smart application on the second day of Gitex Global 2022.
This application has a premium collection of 70 customized services that use the newest programming languages and artificial intelligence.
Notably, the UAE seeks to adopt new technology to address societal issues, and the metaverse presents an opportunity for the police to establish a new channel of communication.
Furthermore, the Dubai Police General Command said their cutting-edge program already has support for seven different languages, including Arabic, English, Chinese, Russian, French, German, and Spanish.
Commenting on the latest development, Major General Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi, director of artificial intelligence at the Dubai Police, pointed out that the upgraded smart device also includes a personal dashboard that stores individual information and other transactions made by the person holding the device.
In addition, it also consists of the holder’s history of traffic violations and offenses, as well as other information.
