Binance has launched an artificial intelligence-powered non-fungible token (NFT) generator that has already made waves in the digital art world.

Known as “Bicasso,” the AI-powered image-generation tool reached its cap of 10,000 NFT mints in just 2.5 hours after launching in beta on March 1st.

Bicasso allows users to upload an image or type in creative prompts to generate a bespoke image created with AI. Similar to other AI-art platforms like DALL-E, Bicasso offers a unique way for creators to turn their visions into NFTs with ease.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao expressed his excitement about the launch, tweeting “The AI was a little stressed out, but caught its [breath] now” after the pilot completed with the creation of 10K NFTs.

Initial mint data shows that 9,909 owners created at least one NFT as part of the limited beta. However, the images were part of the pilot and not available for resale.

The success of Bicasso’s launch signals growing demand for AI-generated NFTs and a shift towards new and innovative ways for creators to monetize their digital artwork. As the crypto industry continues to evolve, it’s likely that we’ll see more developments like Bicasso that combine cutting-edge technology with the world of art and finance.
