Snoop Dogg’s Web3 partnership has been making waves in the creator economy movement, and the latest venture is no exception. The rap star has been revealed as a co-founder of the Web3-powered live streaming app, Shiller, which is set to launch in April.

Shiller is a live broadcast platform that combines Web3 technology with real-time live-streaming content. Along with technology entrepreneur Sam Jones, Snoop Dogg plans to revolutionize the way content creators monetize their work.

The app will heavily feature blockchain technology, allowing content creators to “token-gate” their streams and promote non-fungible tokens or other products from e-commerce websites. They can be paid out in cryptocurrencies like Ether (ETH) or NFTs, which can be cashed out as fiat.

This latest partnership is just one of several Web3 ventures for Snoop Dogg. He partnered with Sandbox metaverse in 2021 to launch an NFT collection called “Snoop Avatars” and performed on a metaverse-transformed stage at MTV’s Video Music Awards on Aug. 29.

In addition, Snoop Dogg is also the “Chief Ganjaroo Officer” of crypto casino Roobet, further solidifying his presence in the crypto and Web3 space.

The creator economy movement is growing, and Web3 is poised to play a significant role in eliminating intermediaries and providing creators with complete ownership over their content and monetization. With Shiller’s upcoming launch, Snoop Dogg and Sam Jones aim to be at the forefront of this movement.
