Dolce & Gabbana brand enters the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) space. This is a huge move from the company to want to expand its business to the NFT world.
As NFTs are booming, many investors and companies are interested in joining the industry in order to expand their businesses. And it seems like the world of fashion is increasingly jumping into digital assets such as CryptoPunks.
Looking at this, Dolce & Gabbana said it aims to change the way people wear clothes, but digitally. The firm said they are looking to change that with “Collezione Genesi,” a 9-piece NFT collection in collaboration with the UNXD marketplace.
Also, the brand added,
“Five of the Collezione Genesi pieces – two dresses, a men’s suit, and two crowns – are physical creations, designed by Dolce & Gabbana, that have digital versions that can be used in the metaverse.”
Dolce & Gabbana is expected to present the collection at the Alta Moda show at the Venice Casino, Venice this weekend. And interested investors could attend the show online at the UNXD website.
In addition, Vogue confirmed that many bidders have already signed up for the auction, which starts on September
