SquidGrow, a leader at the forefront of the crypto revolution, is gearing up to host a spectacle for the ages at Consensus 2024 in Austin, Texas, bringing together the worlds of cryptocurrency and combat sports.

This year’s iteration of the long-running crypto and Web3 conference is pumping up the excitement as top crypto influencers get ready to enter the ring and battle it out in hand-to-hand combat at the Influencer Fight club (IFC), which will see a dozen industry titans square off in a series of one-on-one, winner-take-all grudge matches.

SquidGrow is the main sponsor for Karate Combat 46, which on May 30, will see the Austin Convention Center turned into a high-stakes martial arts combat arena, which will include 10 professional fights in addition to the IFC.

Being a forerunner in the crypto space, the sponsorship will open the gates for the event to a digital empire. Becoming the main sponsor of the event says a lot about the intelligent marketing and community-building efforts deployed by SquidGrow. Consensus is the world’s largest, longest-running, and most influential gathering that brings together all sides of the cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Web3 community. Becoming the main sponsor of the event places SquidGrow at the very center of a crypto ecosystem that involves developers, investors, founders, brands, policymakers, and all other sorts of stakeholders.

The highly anticipated event will feature fighting legends, including George St. Pierre and Bas Rutten. The undercard bouts at this can’t-miss event will include:

  • Billy ” Fyre Fists” McFarland vs. Justin Custardo
  • Belly vs. Lauren Sweeney
  • Tech “TKO” Hustler vs. Tactical Investing
  • Brave Coq vs. Nicolas Stewart
  • May Rocket Chan vs. LykaBoss Reed

Combatants will enter the PIT fighting area for two rounds of two minutes each, with a tiebreaker third round if no winner is decided. The action kicks off May 30 at 7 p.m., with weigh-ins scheduled for May 29 at 5 p.m. on the Town Square stage.

The event will be open to all Consensus attendees with a conference badge, but RSVPs are required as there will be limited tickets available for the public. Karate Combat 46 is expected to be watched by more than 20 million people streamed on YouTube and elsewhere. The live broadcast will also feature an exclusive interview with SquidGrow’s founder Shibitoshi.

Shibtoshi will also be present on the stage with GSP, Bas Rutten, Mike Majlak, President Awesome, and all 32 fighters. SquidGrow visuals will shine across all the strategic venues of the event, including the Karate Combat Pit, the Combat 46 3D VFX environment, the red carpet, and the press conference.

The reason why the event is called Consensus is because it is seen as the primary forum where the industry comes together to discuss the most pivotal matters of the day. The sponsorship puts SquidGrow front and center among the best in the industry.
