Ledger has unveiled its newest hardware wallet, Ledger Flex, at the Bitcoin 2024 conference held in Nashville. The wallet is equipped with a highly secure E Ink touchscreen that is powered by Ledger’s Secure OS.

Additionally, it has NFC connectivity, which improves convenience without sacrificing security. The wallet features a distinctive black and steel design and includes a unique Ledger Flex BTC Edition.

The 2.8-inch display with high resolution guarantees excellent visibility for authorizing transactions and logins, while the implementation of E Ink technology ensures remarkable battery longevity.

Ledger Flex is the second new product introduced by Ledger this year, following the launch of Ledger Stax, which showcases the world’s inaugural curved E Ink display. The wallet has a price tag of $249 and is compatible with the Ledger Live app.

It facilitates transactions on 70 different blockchains and 200 decentralized applications (dApps). Ledger has introduced Ledger Security Key, a new application for Ledger Stax and Ledger Flex. This app allows for secure logins using two-factor authentication (2FA) and Passkey features.

The Ledger Security Key application is specifically developed to safeguard users’ identities and digital assets in an era where AI and deepfakes hold significant influence. Ledger’s latest gadgets provide a crucial solution as the significance of “Proof of You” continues to grow.
