Canadian rapper Drake has won big in a Bitcoin (BTC) bet on Super Bowl LVII. The popular musician bet $700,000 worth of Bitcoin on the Kansas City Chiefs and another $50,000 on Patrick Mahomes scoring a touchdown.

The Chiefs won the match, and Mahomes scored three touchdowns, resulting in a $1,262,000 gain for Drake.

The musician used the sports betting platform Stake, which he also used for a winning bet last year, earning $300,000 in BTC when the Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl LVI.

However, Drake has suffered losses in other sports bets and is known for the “Drake curse,” where teams and athletes have experienced failure after he endorsed them.

This year’s Super Bowl saw no crypto ads, with food and beverage companies replacing the crypto firms.
