Shiba Inu ($SHIB) Developer Shares Exciting News About Shibarium Network

Kaal Dhairya, a key developer working on the Shiba Inu (SHIB) project, released a blog post to inform the community about some crucial developments.

Dhairya kicked off his update by celebrating the incredible achievements of the ShibArmy community. They’ve reached a significant milestone of one million wallets and nearly one million transactions.

He stressed the project’s commitment to keeping Shibarium as one of the fastest and most cost-effective Layer 2 networks.

One of the major updates unveiled is the availability of the hosted version of Blockscout Explorer on Shibariumscan, also known as “Shibarium Explorer.”

This strategic move allows the protocol team to focus on enhancing the network, while the Blockscout team takes care of keeping the explorer fully functional and the blockchain thoroughly indexed.

Dhairya urged users to utilize this explorer for their research and to verify new or existing smart contracts deployed on the network. He also emphasized the importance of contract verification through Blockscout for projects built on Shibarium.

Dhairya provided the verified WBONE contract address and announced that several additional tokens have been mapped to the bridge.

Users can now see these tokens in the user interface, and they include popular choices like USDT, USDC, DAI, WBTC, and xFUND.

The developer revealed that they are actively collaborating with various third-party bridges to facilitate the bridging of even more tokens into Shibarium. This expansion is set to increase the network’s versatility and accessibility.

Dhairya disclosed their plans to renounce the BONE contract within the week, adding an extra layer of trust and decentralization to the network. They also have plans to introduce more validators, enhancing the network’s security and reliability.
