Lionel Messi To Drop His First NFT Collection

Barcelona and Argentina superstar Lionel Messi announced on his official Instagram account that he will drop his first non-fungible token (NFT) soon.

According to the post, Messi, one of the best players in the world team up with Ethernity, a digital protocol, and platform that produces super rare NFT collectibles.

Moreover, Messi, the greatest player of all time himself made an appearance in a video, telling NFT investors to discover his first NFT collection on Ethernity Chain.

In addition, the collection is called the ‘MessiVerse’, and the artwork was done by a great and very well-known artist, Kode Abdo, aka BossLogic. BossLogic is the man behind Black Adam, Black Window, Superman, and many other posters in Hollywood and comic-con.

Also, BossLogic posted on his Instagram saying,

“Been in the works for a while, beyond honored to work with @ethernity and with the legend @leomessi on his first official drop!”

Off note, a non-fungible token is a piece of data stored on a digital ledger (DL), called a blockchain, that certifies a digital asset to be unique and consequently not interchangeable. NFTs can represent items like photos, videos, audio, and other types of digital files.
